The first tatted heart (left) is a pattern by Ruth Perry, entitled Yellow Heart. The smaller heart is a pattern by Birgit Phelps named Sweetheart. I find them really sweet and absolutely love to tat them. The hearts were tatted in Milford #40 variegated pink/white.
In the last couple of weekends, I did some lessons with a lady who's very talented at beading. She taught me to wrap beads around a carbochon using peyote stitches. Something very interesting and a little challenging for me but this is the result of those sessions. I'm totally blown away by the outcome (and no, the image below doesn't do it justice!).
Hope you are enjoying your weekend. XOXO
Beautiful hearts Valerie! I really love those colors too!

ReplyDeleteThank you, Connie, Judith, Wendy, Ginger, Sally, Diane and Sue. Glad you like what I tatted and the ring. Oh, it's really a first try at weaving the beads and I must say I need more practice to get the tension right. Sorry for the slow response... I'm just recovering from a flu and cough. Much better now. :)

ReplyDeleteAnd WWWWWWWWWHOAAAAAA! I am floored over your ring. Absolutely stunning!!!
