We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we're curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.

Pink & Red

Remember this clay whistle? I found time to sit down to tat a string necklace for it, finally. I used a Flora #20 red thread. Quite like it. I plan to wear it some time.

And I made another mini teddy bear. A girl bear this time. It's for my teenage niece who did unexpectedly well for her first literature exam. I don't know how to sew a tiny dress for the bear so I crocheted one with my newly arrived Manuela thread. It's #20 I think. I love the colour of the dress. The maroon ribbon sash in the middle of her dress is a double-coloured ribbon with a pretty sheen. I hope Jileen will take good care of this girl.

Oliver the Mini Teddy

Hi hi. This is Oliver. He's my 1st mini teddy bear made from mohair.

I had the impression that it'll take a shorter time to make a mini teddy bear. I was wrong. Although it didn't take me as long to sew up the parts, but because he's so tiny, I had a quite a tough time. Now I know.

Oliver's bio:

Born: 10 Apr 09

Height: 2½"

Character: friendly, playful and loves to eat

I wish to thank my teddy bear teacher, Alicia. She sent me a whole bunch of teddy bear fur and now I can make tons of mini bears. Look!
