Upgraded Comfort

Remember Frosty? Well, I wanted this bear to sit on my dad's car dashboard but it was quite a wobbly ride. Not a very good idea lest he gets thrown out of the window!

So, I decided to make him a comfortable seat and added valcro to the bottom so the bear can sit securely (fitted on the dashboard)!

And to give you an idea of its size, here's Frosty posing with my 9" Sleepy Head.

Sleepy Bro

Hi there! Hope you are looking forward to the weekend as I do.

This is the other sleepy bear, the brother of Sleepy Head. He's made in mohair that's rather stringy and sparce, but I was surprised at how soft the fur feels. This gives him the straggly look. I haven't given him a name because it's a teddy for my friend.

The story goes that I enjoy making bears but I really can't sew much. So my teddy bears do not have clothes! My friend who's very good with her hands offered to do an "exchange". She'd make some clothes for a teddy that I choose and I'll make her a bear!

The other part of the exchange? Well, they are not ready yet. Will post the designer clothes when they arrive.

Oh, My Sleepy Head...

Hey, who's there looking at me?

was born yesterday (13 Jan 2010). He's 7" from head to legs and is very fond of stealing a nap when no one's looking. There, the lenses caught him just about to go to dreamland again.

Hmmm, it's soft and warm here. Perfect.

Sleepy Head's favourite spot? Well, it's none other than on my hubby's tummy. Boys will be boys.
