Remember this clay whistle? I found time to sit down to tat a string necklace for it, finally. I used a Flora #20 red thread. Quite like it. I plan to wear it some time.
And I made another mini teddy bear. A girl bear this time. It's for my teenage niece who did unexpectedly well for her first literature exam. I don't know how to sew a tiny dress for the bear so I crocheted one with my newly arrived Manuela thread. It's #20 I think. I love the colour of the dress. The maroon ribbon sash in the middle of her dress is a double-coloured ribbon with a pretty sheen. I hope Jileen will take good care of this girl.

The bear looks really sweet and the dress is sweet too. Your neice is going to love it.
ReplyDeleteYour square doily is fabulous too.
That little bear is just the cutest! I love the dress you crocheted for her. Your Niece will treasure her... I'm sure!!! Smiles, Paulette :o)
ReplyDeleteOh, all your clay whistles are so cute! Are you into ocarina, or just making them as ornaments?
ReplyDeleteAnd I do intend to get together with you to make bear, but I'm still tied down to my tatting round-robin to start on any bear :(
Cute stuff! I love that necklace!
