We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we're curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.

The Collar's Ready!

It's been a rather busy time, but I've managed to squeeze in some time to tat a collar for my teddy bear. I'm happy, and I hope she is too!

A pattern from Jan Stawasz's Tatted Treasures, tatted in DMC #30 white.
Last month, Sheila Dutton, my lace teacher from the UK came to visit. I'll have the story in my next post.

Happy Easter!

  2. I love this pattern for a collar. I'm curious how large your adorable teddy bear is. I know you've made some tiny ones, but she looks to be at least 6" tall, judging by the size of the collar.

I love teddy bears and even have one that I take to our tatting events. She's about 9" tall and wears a Victorian outfit in burgundy and green, and, of course, has tatting on her hat and dress; and she carries a shuttle. I call her 'Tatty Bear'! I've had her for 20 years now, and the kids enjoy seeing her! She even has her own special chair that I guess was made for a doll - I found it at a thrift store!
