This is a very pretty pattern! I haven't done a hanky edging, yet, but just got a new edging booklet.
It looks like a fun edging to tat. I look forward to seeing it in place.
What a beautiful pattern and your work is lovely!
I love that pattern! I'm glad to see that someone else is halfway through an edging!
You have done wonders with the Asters pattern! So delicate and fine. It will be quite elegant once applied. Great job!
It is a lovely pattern, hadn't really noticed it before. Can't wait to see it when it is finished and sewn on the hanky.
This is going to be very lovely! Addictive, isn't it?Fox : ))
I love the pattern...tatting gorgeous...is this your own design?HugsJoy in OZ
Hi Val, The edging is progressing well. Thank you for the peek. I love this MK pattern too.
Hi ladies, thanks for your compliments! Yea, it's pretty addictive. I chose to use a finer thread and white because the hanky is all white with a very nice rose bouquet only in one corner. I believe the rose embroidery shd be the focal point but the tatted edging will complement and enhance the whole piece. I hope I've made the right match. The pattern is pretty.
I can't even imagine how many hours this must take to create, Truly stunning work. I have a few vintage pieces of tatting but am saving them for something extra special!hugs Lynn
This looks so gentle, almost fragile. Reminds me of my grandma's tatting - she used the finest thread possible and the result was always stunning. Once you're finished, please post a picture.
