I put my legs up yesterday, and had no tatting done. I just stared at the herringbone chain I beaded the day before and decided I should practice beading again. So I pulled out my beading magazines and picked out a page that showed how to do the St Petersburg stitch. Voila!
Before my dear tatting folks think I'm neglecting my tatting, I will just say that I've decided today what I will tat for one of my new hankies. I doodled a pattern I'm going to experiment with on paper in the train, on my way to work this morning. Will give you a glimpse of the idea I'm hatching as soon as I have something decent.
Happy Monday.
I yearn for the day when I can play with beading! There are just not enough hours in the day! I don't know how you use that board but I've seen them. I have a huge collection of beading magazines just waiting for me to play with them!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I love the combination of red and gold!
ReplyDeleteYour beading looks amazing. Love your choice of colours and beads.
ReplyDeleteHi Val,
ReplyDeleteSince I have not been able to transform myself into a beader, I can admire your work and say "Fabulous job!". With your tatting and your beading, you must be an extremely patient person!
