Seashell and The Singapore Flyer

Tatted Gina's seashell in the wee hours of this morning. It's an lovely pattern you can find on her blog.

Visited the Singapore Flyer with friends yesterday. Yes, there are still places I haven't explored in this city that is famously known as "a little red dot". No, I didn't ride in the flyer, but toured the facility and had a fabulous feasting session, enjoying the local fare that reminds of Singapore in the 1970s and early 80s.

According to the official website, "Singapore Flyer is the world’s largest observation wheel. Standing at a stunning 165m from the ground, the Flyer offers you breathtaking, panoramic views of the Marina Bay, our island city and beyond."

How's your weekend?

Just been over to Gina's blog and she has left us with some lovely patterns, it is good to see that people continue to tat them.
In England we have the London Eye which is similar to your Singapore Flyer, perhaps I may get to get on yours aswell!!

  2. I rode on the Singapore Flyer two years ago. Wonderful! It was odd how when we were at the top and had nothing to measure progress against, it seemed as though we weren't moving at all.
