I think you're off to a great start! Your clunies look fine to me! I've been checking different videos and see different kinds of 'looms'. This one is interesting, and it's shown clearly. I like the split ring leading up to it, as it's something to hold onto, and has the two color threads on each shuttle - very important for learning. Thanks for the link! I'm grateful to those who take the time to make videos! I have trouble just loading photos into my blog! I also admire your cute teddy bears. I smile every time I see the one in your Profile!
You are doing great! It has taken me two years! TWO YEARS - and mine are still not the way I want them to be! Keep up the good work. It's worth the practice as they are so lovely in tatted pieces.Fox : )
Kathy & Fox: Thanks for your kind words, and encouragement. I'll be trying to practice more and hopefully have a presentable piece to show soon. :)
I agree! I think for your first ones of trying,,,you are doing pretty good!!! You will have them perfect in no time at this rate GF!
Hi Val, Your cluny leaves look great. I linked to the video and tried it too. Great video. Thanks so much! By the way, I will post the shuttles when they arrive. Should be any day now.
That looks so interesting! Her tutorials are really neat. Now I just have to learn this ^_^
